Course Description:
World Cultures explores the geography, history, and cultures of the world. The course begins by examining the basic components of culture to understand how these features relate to human societies. The majority of the course explores world history since 1450, examining how cultures have evolved and interacted over time. Students will gain knowledge about world history while learning about and using broader historical thinking and analysis skills.
