Course Description:
Physical Science will introduce two areas of study: chemistry and physics. During semester 1, students will focus on studying chemistry. They will investigate topics surrounding matter, atomic structure, the periodic table, bonds, and chemical reactions. Physics will be the focus of semester 2 in which students will investigate topics involving motion, forces, energy, waves, and electricity.
Prerequisite: Successful completion of Biology and Pre-Algebra or Algebra.
Course Length: 2 Semesters
Credits: 1 Credit
