Course Description:
This course introduces learners to elements of literature from classic to modern times using forms such as short stories, novels, poetry, drama, and essays. Through reading, learners will develop skills in literary analysis and interpretation. Tips for strengthening vocabulary, grammar, and mechanics will be given. Lessons concerning writing emphasize composition skills. Learners will demonstrate their knowledge of the content through a variety of writing assignments.
