Scacco, Michele
Middle School Language Arts and Social Studies Teacher; Electives
Biography
My name is Michele Scacco and I teach 5th and 6th Grade Language Arts and Social Studies. My first bachelor degrees were from the University of Illinois in Economics and French. Then, I went to Carroll University to study my true calling - education. In 2009, I earned my degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Social Studies. I joined WVL in the fall of 2013.
I am originally from Illinois. I grew up in a suburb of Chicago and much of my family still lives there. My husband and I have lived in Waukesha since 1997. We have two sons, Luke and Max.
Wisconsin is a great place to be active and I enjoy outdoor activities - running, hiking, biking, and camping. (My sons actively participate in cross-country skiing and I am trying to learn.) I also love to travel especially to national parks and Europe. Finally, I am passionate about reading and I am always looking for suggestions for great books from students and friends.

Biography
It is a pleasure to serve you as the WVL Technology Coordinator. I started with WVL in 2016 and serve a dual role as the District Technology Coordinator for both WVL and the Northern Ozaukee School District. With over 20 years of IT experience, I enjoy the opportunities to supply technology to not only the staff but also the students. Technology is a way for students to have an advanced learning environment.
A little bit about myself away from WVL and NOSD- I have a wonderful wife Melissa (a 4th Grade Teacher here at NOSD) and two amazing children (Addyson and Jaxson). Books are big in our house where we read just about every night!!! Outside of family and work I am the Head Football Coach for Cedar Grove–Belgium. Probably one of the most interesting facts people find interesting from my coaching is I am a past Green Bay Packers High School Coach of the Week award winner.
