Wisconsin virtual charter schools

How the Mindset of WVL Sets Us Apart from Other Wisconsin Virtual Charter Schools

Like many of the virtual schools around the country, Wisconsin virtual charter schools have seen an increase in enrollment because of the pandemic. Many of these schools are in reaction to the closing of brick-and-mortar institutions. Though many brick-and-mortar schools resorted to online platforms so children could continue their schooling, the transition was challenging and often put an extra burden on parents. As a result, many virtual schools came into being to help while others, such as Wisconsin Virtual Learning (WVL), continued to serve as they have for years.

Dedicated to Student Success

At WVL, we are devoted to student success. Our commitment to meet the needs of all our students is a value shared by all staff members. But, unfortunately, not all Wisconsin virtual charter schools have the track record or passion we have cultivated here at WVL.

Each child has their own learning style. Some children have challenges learning in traditional schools. Some children are very advanced and learn faster than the average student, while others may need more time to process concepts. We understand that at WVL. As a result, we have designed our curriculum to meet the various needs of all types of learners.

A Different Mindset for Wisconsin Virtual Charter Schools

WVL has a different mindset than other Wisconsin Virtual Charter Schools do. WVL takes a team approach to learning. With our layers of support, students and parents become engaged in the learning process. Additionally, we offer in-person social opportunities throughout the year. We realize that students need to socialize with others and that a well-rounded learning experience does not occur in isolation.

Different pathways provide opportunities for students to learn using a modality that works for them. With WVL, each student can choose from one of three individual pathways to help achieve school success. Advanced students also have the opportunity to choose from AP courses. In addition, WVL students are encouraged to continue education beyond high school through the college and career prep opportunities we offer.

Our job is to help your child prepare to be competitive in the future job market and help cultivate a value of life-long learning. Contact us for information about our curriculum. We are accepting applications and invite you to request information today.
